The application can be submitted without a specific location selection, but priority will be given to works designed for the locations listed below.

We also reserve the right to negotiate the adaptation of the artwork to the venue in full respect of creative freedom.

MAP

Gallery

Each artwork must respect the specificity, spirit and sacredness of the venue being presented.

During the decision-making process, we select the works to be realized in accordance with the locations and taking into account their specifics. For outdoor venues, the entry must be strong and durable to withstand rain and wind. You must be responsible for the equipment you provide in the contract with you.

General Information

In this application, ZSFF does not necessarily expect ready-made, fully elaborated works. It is also possible to submit ideas and works for which the creator requires further help in terms of adaptation to the location, elaboration of technical conditions and implementation.

The ZSFF team supports successful implementation with consulting, human and other resources during the entire process of preparation, implementation, operation and dismantling. The details of this will be discussed with the successful applicant after the announcement of the results.

We provide security guarding for each production during construction, presentation and demolition, but you or your team members must take over the operation. In special cases, we may deviate from this, clarification of which will form part of our agreement.

As we finalise the financial conditions, we would like to help streamline the related costs. We reserve the right to involve sponsors to cover the costs of realizing the work.

It is important that if the submitted work is eligible for any kind of tender or other financial resources, it is important to indicate this during the application, as this may be an advantage during the evaluation.

By accepting the application, we do not guarantee that we will realize the creation.

Our team can also provide technical equipment and on-site infrastructure if justified. In case of successful application, we will discuss the details with the applicant.

By submitting the application, the applicant accepts that the announcer may request changes to the artwork included in the contest that do not affect its artistic concept, due to its feasibility, financial or interests taking into account the festival as a whole. These changes are, of course, open to the applicant's discretion.

The applicant acknowledges that by submitting the application, the finished intellectual property will not be in the possession of the announcer of the contest in any form, but the organizer is fully entitled to publish (display), so it can determine the circle of those who have access to the work and the time of presentation.

By submitting the application form, each applicant undertakes and ensures that the work submitted by him does not harm the honor, human dignity or reputation of third parties. By submitting the application form, each applicant undertakes and warrants that if he causes damage to any third party by submitting the application or by publishing it (presentation), he or she shall pay the entire material and non-material disadvantage caused by him directly to the injured party by way of compensation and grievance fees.

By submitting the application form, each applicant undertakes and ensures that his/her work does not infringe the copyright and property rights of third parties. By submitting the application form, the applicant undertakes that if a third party asserts any claim against the organizers of the ZSFF due to infringement of copyright, personality, property or other rights, he/she shall be liable for the fulfilment of the claim without limitation instead of the organizer if the claim is justified.

F.A.Q

I should name the technical equipment needed for my job, but at this stage I don't know yet – what should I write on the form?

Since it helps us a lot if we learn as much information about your creation as possible, please indicate the necessary equipment to the best of your ability. If you're not already sure, let us know and our colleague will contact you during the evaluation process to get these details.

I have a great idea, but I have no experience with how to implement it, What should I do?

We also welcome ideas that exist at the idea level and are happy to participate in bringing them to life. This process requires more time, we reserve the right to support your idea with longer preparation and implement it at a subsequent festival.

What additional administrative tasks do I have to face in order to present my work?

After selecting the entries, we will send you a draft contract to be concluded with us, detailing both the creative obligations and the expectations of the festival organizers. We would like to predict that you will be responsible for the liability insurance of your creation.

If my artwork is selected, how much time will I have to set it up (assemble, install)?

Usually we expect a 3-5 day construction process, the artwork must be completed one day before the festival. We will have a precise schedule for construction, demonstration and demolition so that everyone receives the necessary help and attention.

We wish you good work in preparing the application, we are waiting for your application, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
