The Zsolnay Light Festival is waiting for your application to include your work in the 2025 festival program!

FOREWORD
Between 3 and 6 July 2025, Hungary's only festival of lights, the Zsolnay Light Festival in Pécs, will be held for the ninth time.
The festival organically combines the world of light festivals with street art and music productions, and its related events open up towards companion arts and knowledge transfer.
One of the most intense experiences of the festival is the works of the approximately 20-station light boulevard, the ROUTE OF LIGHT. The Route of Light presents a wide spectrum of domestic and international light art works, visitors can encounter works based on analog and digital techniques, as well as static and interactive installations.
An important element of the Route of Light is the LIGHT ARTISTS’ CAMP, which will be implemented for the third time in 2025. With the project, the Festival of Light is committed to presenting experimental works dealing with light and new media, the primary aim of which is to provide an opportunity for the young generation of university students to introduce themselves and develop.
In addition, for the first time this year, we are also looking forward to those PERFORMING ARTS PRODUCTIONS that are connected to light as a means of expression in some form and strengthen the accompanying program consisting of street art, audiovisual, musical or performative productions that are an integral part of the festival experience.
