Zsolt Palotai was the number one promoter of modern electronic music genres in Hungary, the musical director of Tilos az Á, the former founder of Tilos Radio and its music editor-in-chief for many years.
As a tribute to the legendary DJ, who passed away on November 18, 2023, the visual creative group Kiégő Izzók created a thematic projection in the unique audiovisual dome of the Sound Dome, which commemorates Zsolt Palotai, considered the trend-setting and the origin of metropolitan DJ and party culture, by artfully stitching together photos, videos, recordings of his unique music collection and personal belongings.
The music of the 360-degree film is provided by one of DJ Palotai's last recorded mixes, which was played in the summer of 2023 at the venue of Tilos Radio's fundraising festival, the Tilos Marathon Cökxpon Chillegal.
The premiere of the film took place on 9 March, World DJ Day, at the opening of the large-scale Zsolt Palotai memorial exhibition co-organised with Tilos Rádió at the House of Music.
Thanks to Zsolt Palotai's family and many, many close friends who made them available to the creators for the materials used in the film.
